Circle Seal Controls originated in 1947 as the engineering partnership of James-Pond-Clark. One of the partnership's especially innovative ideas, based on a unique o-ring sealing design, resulted in a check valve that was truly leak proof. The success of this design alerted the company to the urgent need for high performance check valves in the industry. The idea was expanded upon and the company was able to provide products with a degree of sealing efficiency and reliability previously unavailable.

Circle Seal Controls is now a part of CIRCOR's Aerospace Products Group and is located in Corona, California. To date, Circle Seal's product line consists of literally thousands of precision valves, including check, relief, shutoff, and solenoid valves and pressure regulators for small diameter piping requirements. Specialty designs include electro-mechanical valves, pressure sensing gauges and pressure control systems.

Circle Seal's products are utilized in nearly all commercial aircraft, weapons systems and space exploration programs, as well as employed worldwide in medical chemical processing, gas, oil, water and sewage systems, deep-submergence, life support, laboratory and office equipment, and in heavy machinery and general instrumentation.
