WARREN JAGUAR
WARREN JAGUAR 2200 SERIES PUMPS
VERSATILE TWO-SCREW SPECIALTY PUMPS ACCOMMODATE VIRTUALLY ANY FLUID
The versatile Jaguar series of Warren brand positive displacement screw pumps offers flexible design and material options for nearly any flow, pressure and
viscosity requirement. Notable for their ability to provide very low NPSHr, Warren Jaguar pumps are ideal for tank unloading and high viscosity fluids, where NPSHa may be severely limited. Like all two-screw pumps, they are low shear, so fluids are safely moved in applications ranging from specialized niche processes to boosting.
Warren Jaguar’s unique six-bearing design evolved from more than 50 years of experience in high-pressure applications. Inside of a highly durable solid
cast body and coated surface, customers gain custom engineered solutions for capacities as low as 200 gpm or as high as 4,800 gpm, suction inlet pressures
to 1650 psi, discharge pressures to 2,000 psi, and viscosities as low as 5 cSt or as high as 100,000 cSt. Jaguar’s optional hopper suction design for very low NPSH combined with elevated temperature capability serves high-viscosity applications like polymers, adhesives, asphalt and foods – materials that would otherwise be difficult to get into the pump.
High performance meets high reliability
Ability to Handle Multiple Liquids at Multiple Viscosity Rates
Because they're designed to move fluid at a consistent rate, regardless of pressure, twin-screw pumps deliver results where centrifugal pumps are unable to and are able to actually increase efficiency as viscosity rises.
But twin-screw pumps don't just offer performance, since they are designed to eliminate metal-on-metal contact which means a longer life, improved reliability and less downtime.
In addition, unlike other pump options, twin-screw pumps can:
- Tolerate contamination
- Handle a large range of viscosities and fluids
- Low NPSH required
- Run dry
- Low fluid sheer
- Operate at variable speeds
And with twin-screw pumps' ability to handle multiple liquids at multiple viscosity rates, they can be used for a wide range of applications.
- A variety of suction options available
- Accommodates most seal designs
- Capable of handling shear sensitive fluids
- Available in a number of materials
- Suited for: chemical, petroleum, power, food or barges
Specialty JAGUAR Series
The 2200 Series commonly known as the Jaguar Series is a positive displacement pump capable of handling viscosities to 150,000,000 ssu. Basically, the pump is made up of two sets of opposed screws. Each set of screws conveys liquid toward the center of the pump where the discharge port is located. Since hydraulic forces are opposite and equal, the rotor is hydraulically balanced in an axial direction.
